ODOT's Region 1 Technical Center is recruiting for a senior roadway designer to serve as an expert on our project design team. In this role, you will apply highway engineering principles to develop or evaluate project alternatives and details to address the needs of our traveling public. You will work closely with our in-house technical team on all aspects of project development – from environmental impact considerations to traffic, hydraulic, geotechnical and bridge engineering. In addition, you will lead project design teams towards the delivery of complete designs ready for construction.

Minimum Qualifications: A valid professional engineer's (PE) license in civil, structural, or transportation-related engineering.
Note: If registered in another state, successful applicants will be required to obtain professional registration in the state of Oregon within six months of hire.
